Register as a 10K volunteer!
1. Create a username and password HERE.
2. Be sure to select "Yes" when asked if you are registering for the 10,000 Hours Show
Need to log hours?
1. Log into your user account HERE.
2. Enter your username and password.
3. The site will return you to the front page of the www.volunteeryourtime.org website.
4.On the right side of the screen, click on "log hours" under "your hours"
5. Click on either "find an existing agency" or "opportunity"
6. Search for your agency or opportunity and click on its link
7. Record the date, time, and hours of your service...the agency will approve your hours
8. Be sure to select "yes" when asked if you are logging hours for the 10,000 Hours Show

Repeat! Keep rockin' to get 10 hours!
*If you hours haven't been approved, please contact the non-profit agency's volunteer coordinator and ask them to approve your hours.
Need to get your ticket?
1. Log at least ten hours of service between April 1, 2008- April 1, 2009 on www.volunteeryourtime.org through your account.
2. All volunteers with 10 approved hours of service by April 1, 2009 will receive an email with the dates and locations for ticket pick up.
3. Bring your student ID to collect your ticket.
4. Rock out at the concert with all the other 10K volunteers.
The 10,000 Hours Show
offers a free and easy way for you to recognize your current volunteers
and recruit new ones with a great concert ticket.
To participate, you
simply need to be registered with VolunteerYourTime.org, have service opportunities appropriate for young
volunteers posted on it, and promptly verify on VolunteerYourTime.org the hours your participating volunteers serve.

10K Dane County does not vouch
for the individual quality or character of volunteers who utilize
the following (or any) online system.
In order for your volunteers to
attend the 10K Dane County concert, you MUST verify their volunteer
hours. For more information on how to do so, follow the
links below.
By participating in 10K, you are
relieving 10K Dane County, its staff, partners, supporters, and
affiliates of all responsibility or liability related to a) your
experiences with volunteers, b) participating in 10K in any other
fashion, and/or c)10K’s concert.

volunteer opportunities and tracking volunteers and their hours.

The 10,000 Hours Show has youth serving county wide to make this project happen. Student organizations work on the UW-Madison campus and at Edgewood College.
