10,000 Thank Yous

On behalf of the entire student staff of The 10,000 Hours Show (10K) of Dane County, our over 2,000 registered volunteers and approximately 100 registered non-profit agencies, we wish you a heartfelt Thank You!

10KDC2, this year's show, recognized the 14,895 hours of service in Dane County assisting well over 100 local community non-profits organizations. Approximately 400 volunteers completed at least 10 hours of service with 10K this year, averaging 35 hours of service per volunteer. Congratulations on a job well done and rocking the Clap Your Hands Say Yeah concert!

As implied by our motto “because together we rock,” we are very excited to work with you in the coming year. As we move into our third year since it all began in Madison, 10K is focusing on increased visibility, stronger nonprofit relationships, greater expansion, and yet another rockin’ concert. We are also excited to begin offering issue based weekly volunteer opportunities in addition to our main event in the spring. In other words, 10K is transforming from a “one hit wonder” into a “timeless classic.”

But we can’t do it without you. Whether you are student looking for a more meaningful connection to your community, a nonprofit seeking the assistance of local volunteers, or a business wanting to support the mobilization of young people in Madison – you can find everything you need to rock the community and MORE right here on this website.

So join The 10,000 Hours Show in making 10KDC3 the best show yet. Together we can make it happen.

Thanks everyone for your continued commitment to service. Together we're changing lives and making a positive impact in our communities across Madison.

Because together we rock.
